  • What is the process of becoming a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT)?
    Once you attend the 3-day live workshop, you will be given an NASM Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) online account where you will gain access to NASM Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) online resources (tutorials, exercise library, quizzes, unlimited practice exams). Once you are ready for your final exam, make an appointment to attempt your final exam at PFC Studio. You are given 365 days to complete your final exam.

    NASM Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) is designed to allow for hands-on learning, self-directed and self-paced study (3 days of live workshop and online studies thereafter).
  • Do I need to re-certify? How often and why bother re-certifying? How much does it cost to re-certify?
    NASM Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) graduates are required to undergo re-certification every 2 years. They are required to collect 2.0 continuing education units (CEUs) by attending NASM approved courses. The re-certification fee is RM848 (inclusive of 6% SST) for every two years. There is so much to learn when it comes to fitness so the re-certification requirement is just another way to ensure that trainers stay on top of their knowledge because when it comes to your career and your clients, don't settle for less.

    NASM now offers "Recertify for Life" option. This gives NASM Certified Personal Trainers the opportunity to avoid renewal fees with a one-time fee of RM1749 (inclusive of 6% SST). NASM-CPTs are required to collect 2.0 continuing education units (CEUs) every 2 years. by attending NASM approved courses.

    Participants of NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES) would be learning the Corrective Exercise Continuum (CEx) model; a 4-step proven method to tackle dysfunctional musculoskeletal impairments that can lead to pain and injury. This allows trainers to expand their skill set to take on any client, including athletes!
  • What will be covered during the NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES) 2-day live workshop?
    In the first segment of the workshop, we'll be introducing the muscular systems involved in the human anatomy, followed by assessment techniques to identify postural problem. In the second segment, we'll be introducing the CEx model, followed by the techniques involved at each phase and a case study to allow participants to put what they've learnt into practical use.
  • What does NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES) fees include?
    The course fee includes three (3) final online NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES) exam attempts, CEU value worth 1.9, a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES) hardcopy textbook, access to our online interactive course, learning modules, exercise & cueing technique videos, and a live workshop conducted by our experienced NASM Master Trainer.

NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist

  • Are there any prerequisites for NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES)?
    NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES) requires the individual to obtain a current NASM Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) certification or a current health and fitness certification accredited by NCCA, NBFE or DETC or a current Licensed or Certified Massage Therapist.
  • How is NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES) different from other similar courses?
    NASM has offered a variety of courses that specialised in different areas. NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES) focal point is to help trainers to deal with athletes with the OPT Model.
  • Do I receive a certificate and do I need to recertify?
    Upon successful certification, you will receive a customised certificate. You will not be required to complete any CEC's or CEU's to maintain the certification.
